Last updated: May 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Precise Influence ("we," "our," or "the Platform") is an AI-powered influencer-brand matching platform operated from Cape Coral, Florida, United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our platform at app.preciseinfluence.com.

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, role (creator, brand, or agency), and any profile information you provide such as your bio, display name, avatar, and content categories.

2.2 Social Platform Data

When you connect your Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube account via OAuth, we access and store:

  • Profile metadata — username, display name, follower count, following count, post/video count
  • Content metadata — recent posts/videos with engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, views)
  • Audience demographics — aggregated age, gender, and geographic distribution of your audience (where available from the platform)
  • Account insights — engagement rates and content performance data

We do not access private messages, passwords, or direct message content from any connected platform.

2.3 Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, actions taken (offers sent, campaigns created, messages exchanged), and timestamps of activity. We maintain audit logs for security and compliance purposes.

2.4 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. We store payment references (Stripe customer IDs, payment intent IDs) to track transaction status. For payouts, we store PayPal email addresses and tax form data (last 4 digits of tax ID only).

2.5 Communications

Messages sent through the platform's in-app messaging system are stored to facilitate brand-creator communication. System-generated notifications and campaign status updates are also stored.

3. How We Use Information

  • Matching service — We use your profile, content, and audience data to compute compatibility scores between creators and brands using our AI-powered matching engine.
  • Creator-brand connections — We display relevant profile information, match scores, and audience analytics to facilitate informed partnership decisions.
  • Payment processing — We use Stripe to process campaign payments and PayPal for creator payouts.
  • Communications — We send transactional emails (offer notifications, campaign updates, payment confirmations) via Resend.
  • Service improvement — We use aggregated, anonymized data and AI tools (OpenAI) to improve match accuracy, generate content insights, and enhance the user experience.

4. How We Share Information

  • With brands — When you are a creator on the platform, brands can view your public profile, match score, audience demographics, engagement metrics, and content samples.
  • With creators — When you are a brand, creators can view your company profile, campaign details, and offer terms.
  • With agencies — If you belong to an agency, agency members with appropriate roles can view and act on your data within the platform.
  • With service providers — We share data with our infrastructure providers as necessary to operate the service:
    • Supabase (database and authentication)
    • Vercel (application hosting)
    • Stripe (payment processing)
    • Resend (transactional email delivery)
    • OpenAI (AI-powered features including match scoring and content analysis)
  • Legal compliance — We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Social Platform Data Specifics

This section provides additional detail required by Meta, TikTok, and Google regarding our use of their platform data.

5.1 Instagram (Meta)

When you connect your Instagram account to Precise Influence, we use the Instagram Graph API and Instagram Insights API to access account and content data. Connection requires an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page.

Permissions requested via OAuth:

  • instagram_business_basic — read your Instagram Business or Creator profile and media metadata
  • instagram_business_manage_insights — read aggregated audience demographics and content performance insights

Data we access and store:

  • Profile metadata (username, account type, media count, follower and following counts)
  • Media metadata for your recent posts (post type, captions, engagement counts including likes and comments, timestamps, media URLs)
  • Account-level insights (impressions, reach, profile views, engagement rate)
  • Aggregated audience demographics (age ranges, gender distribution, geographic distribution by city and country) — provided in aggregated form by Meta, never as individual user-level data

Data we do NOT access:

  • Direct messages or message content
  • Other users' profiles, posts, or interactions
  • Your account password or authentication credentials
  • Private content not visible to your account
  • Stories or other content you have not shared publicly

How access is granted and revoked:

Access is granted through Meta's OAuth authorization flow with HMAC-signed state parameters to prevent CSRF attacks. You can revoke access at any time through:

  1. Precise Influence Settings page — disconnect button
  2. Instagram app — Settings → Security → Apps and Websites → Active → revoke "Precise Influence"
  3. Facebook Business Manager — Business Settings → Integrations → revoke
  4. Submit a request via our Data Deletion page
  5. Email legal@preciseinfluence.com requesting revocation

When you revoke access or delete your account, all Instagram-derived data (analytics, posts, demographics) is removed from our systems within 30 days. Meta is automatically notified of revocation events through our webhook handler.

5.2 TikTok

When you connect TikTok, we access your profile information (display name, follower/following counts, video counts) and recent video metadata (view counts, engagement metrics). Audience demographics are not available through TikTok's standard API tier.

5.3 YouTube

When you connect YouTube, we access your channel statistics, recent video metadata and engagement metrics, and audience demographics via the YouTube Analytics API (aggregated age, gender, and geographic data for the most recent 90-day period).

6. Data Retention

  • Account data — Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
  • Social platform data — Refreshed on each data ingestion cycle. Previous data is overwritten with the latest data from the platform.
  • Application error logs — Retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted.
  • Compliance audit logs — Retained for the longer of 2 years or as required by applicable law.
  • Deleted accounts — All user-identifiable data is removed within 30 days of a deletion request. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained.
